Klagetoh II Counted Cross Stitch Kit: Rugs of the Southwest Series

The Klagetoh name comes from the Klagetoh Trading Post in a settlement 12 miles south of Ganado, AZ and means “Hidden Springs.”

Rugs from this area resemble the Ganado in design and color. They have a central diamond motif with corner elements and a black border and are woven in colors of red, gray, black and white. The Ganado typically uses a red background whereas a Klagetoh uses a gray. The Klagetoh often has a more intricate pattern as well.
