Dawn of the Dinosaurs Tee

Dawn of the Dinosaurs. This is the scene that may have occurred along a tributary of the mighty river that flowed through this region 223 million years ago.

Each animal and plant pictured is based on fossils found in the Petrified Forest National Park region.

The original artwork is illustrated by scientific artist, Victor Leshyk. His style of art is called paleontological illustration and the Dawn of the Dinosaurs art is displayed at the Petrified Forest National Park Rainbow Forest Museum.
